How does Washington measure up?

Even if I wasn’t a real estate agent, I think these statistics would still interest me.

2.1%: Percent of Washington residential mortgages in foreclosure at year-end 2009 (24,900).

7.65%: Percent of Washington residential mortgages past due but not yet in foreclosure (90,800).

15: Number of states with lower serious delinquency/foreclosure rates than Washington.

439,728: Number of Washington homes owned without a mortgage. LUCKY DUCKS.

I’m curious to see what year-end 2010 brings. Stay tuned.
